Curriculum

READING-Stretching our understanding of literature in a large variety of genres, to read with depth and critical thinking skills.

WRITING- Learning and improving skills of author’s craft including multiple genres and for a variety of real world purposes.

MATH-
Using multiple strategies to do a multitude of mathematical concepts ranging from geometry to algebra to statistical analysis and more!

SCIENCE- Using the skills and tools of a scientist to explore concepts of the natural world including matter, geological formations, water studies, and ecosystems. The Outdoor Lab program support and enhances this understanding through hands on learning in the Colorado Rockies.

SOCIAL STUDIES-Gaining an understanding of the Western Hemisphere, its cultures and peoples, and the impact the geography of our world has on cultural development and norms.

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING-
Supporting our students in their transition to young adulthood through literature studies, Second Step curriculum, and multiple opportunities to stretch our wings and grow in a safe, supportive environment.
